Roy-Estes Flood-Risk-Summit-Speaker

Roy Estes

Executive General Adjuster, McLarens

In 1992, Hurricane Andrew battered Southeastern Florida and Roy was invited to adjust claims as an independent adjuster. Since 1992, he has worked as staff and as an independent for firms such as Allstate, Crawford, GAB Robbins and other national and international firms, and graduating to more complex claims, both at home and abroad.

Roy had managed teams on several high profile, large exposure and complex claims in his career, in addition to managing storms, storm teams, and books of business.

Prior to adjusting claims internationally, Roy began working in oil and gas refineries and oil rigs, both on land and offshore. He later joined an internationally acclaimed oil well firefighting team. From there, he went on to oil production in refining where he spent several years as a millwright, boilermaker, instrument technician, and pipe fitter. Years later, he founded a fire and water clean-up business where he worked mostly insurance mitigation claims which led him to claims adjusting.

Roy joined McLarens in 2018 as an Executive General Adjuster.
