Project Manager, Strategic Policy Branch, Ontario Ministry of the Environment & Climate Change
Susanne is an experienced project manager and public policy expert with broad background in government, academic research, and the not-for- profit sector. She has worked for the Ministry of the Environment since 1999, interrupted by positions at the Institute for Public Administration Canada; the Ontario Ministry of Health & Long-Term Care; as well as Ontario Ministry of Research & Innovation.
As a civil servant she has a strong interest in government program design, including Design for Policy thinking where the civil service works directly with the public to design policies and programmes.
Susanne is currently working on Ontario’s next Climate Adaptation Strategy as well as Great Lakes climate change.
Susanne holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Copenhagen with a focus on international climate change politics; and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
