Senior Vice President, Personal Lines Pricing and Development, Aviva Canada
As SVP, Personal Lines Pricing & Development, Kristen has accountability for all Personal Lines, Pricing, Underwriting, and Enablement on a National basis. Also under her supervision is Broker Quality Assurance with respect to Personal Lines.
Prior to her appointment as Senior Vice-President (December 2015), she held the role of Vice-President, Personal Lines Pricing and Product Development at Aviva Canada since 2011. Kristen previously spent nine years at a Canadian property and casualty insurance company holding roles in pricing, reserving, and research & development.
In her time with Aviva, Kristen has been instrumental in the overall design, strategy and implementation of many projects and programs. Over the past six years, Kristen has helped transform Aviva into a market leader in personal lines pricing sophistication and has been key in delivering market leading results.
In 2005, Kristen achieved her Fellowship with the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS), is a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (FCIA), and a Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP). She is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario, with a Bachelor of Science Degree (BSc.), Honours Actuarial Science and Computer Science with distinction.
